I'm Rachel Cuthbert, a Geordie author writing a five-book YA fantasy series set along the wild northeast coast of England. Book One, Child of Storm, is set on Lindisfarne, Holy Island, where the magic is real, the tides are ruthless, and the Vikings left more behind than anyone bargained for.

Before I got here I was a midwife, an actor, a singer, an award-winning dancer, a jewellery maker, a podcast host, and now, apparently, an author. I genuinely cannot make my mind up.
